  The location is super, with an observation tower across the road from which the fascinating landscape of the delta can be seen.

  I think that they do a menu del dia but we normally order from the menu, specifically because they do smoked eel on toast which is delicious. On my last solo visit I also had an exquisite carpaccio of duck, a tasty duck stew with wild mushrooms and artichokes and a crema Catalan to follow.

  This has become a favourite place of ours when we visit the delta - and it's up against some tough competition.. We've been coming here for several years, normally for lunch.

  Tasty food and friendly service. Perhaps we should have had rice for the main as fideuà wasn't amazing. Eel toast were the winner!

  Best rice I have ever eaten (and i've tried out a few). Go for the special rice 'seixat' and you'll agree with me. Lovely service, they know the plates and advise you well, not to talk about the kind big smile. I only give 4* because i was somewhat dissapointed about the 'entrantes': gambitas, tallarines and oysters. I would definitely recommend this place, make sure you call to book in advance. Oh I forgot to mention the surroundings. There are a couple of observation points from where you can watch the flamingos eat. Yeah, it's the cherry on the top
